In Pakistan, there are two types of regulatory requirements that must be fulfilled before taking up a construction project. The first concerns professional licensing laws, which are administered by the Pakistan Engineering Council Act, 1976 and the Pakistan Council of Architects and Town Planners Ordinance, 1983 respectively.
