Chair Mian Sheraz Javaid and Vice Chair Nasir Khan MBE conducted a briefing session with the Acting Chief Justice Federal Shariat Court of Pakistan, Hon’ble Mr. Justice Dr. Syed Muhammad Anwer and Judge Federal Shariat Court, Mr. Justice Khadim Hussain M. Shaikh. The Chair and Vice Chair briefed the honorable justices on the principles of alternative dispute resolution and the facilities the 42nd Branch of Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, the Pakistan branch offers in the promotion of ADR as first mode of dispute resolution. Furthermore, the Honorable Justices commended the mammoth task of the first of its kind training of a cohort of 50 members of the top notch legal fraternity in Islamabad by CIArb Pakistan branch, that too on globally accredited standards.
