Construction contracts are regulated by two categories. First relates to professional licensing laws which are governed by Pakistan Engineering Council Act, 1976 and Pakistan Council of Architects and Town Planners Ordinance, 1983. Second relates to area specific laws which govern construction projects under those areas, which include Provincial Building Codes, CDA, Cantonments, and DHA regulations.
We help our clients who employ or give services as constructor or operator in ‘professional engineering works’ with registration and licensing under the Pakistan Engineering Council Act, 1976. Under Pakistan Council of Architects and Town Planners Ordinance, 1983 we provide registration services to professional town planners and architects under the ordinance. We also advise on regulatory requirements of provincial building codes, Cantonments, DHAs, and CDA laws.
